What Keeps Your Skin Red

Redness that does not fade is usually vascular: dilated or extra blood vessels sit close to the surface. It tends to settle on the cheeks, nose and chin, and can be linked to rosacea, sun damage, genetics or a barrier that reacts easily.

Because the cause sits under the surface, creams alone rarely clear it. Common triggers make it worse:

  • Heat
  • Sun
  • Alcohol
  • Spicy foods
  • Stress
  • Harsh skincare

How we treat it

Our Three-Part Redness Plan

  1. Aerolase Neo Laser

Short laser pulses target the blood vessels behind persistent redness and visible capillaries. It is gentle, designed for all skin types, and most patients go straight back to their day.

  2. Calming Facials

Customized facials soothe and hydrate reactive skin and help strengthen the barrier between laser sessions.

  3. Our Medical-Grade Skincare

The Redness-Calming Cream, Phyto Multi-Correcting Serum and Niacinamide 15% from our own line keep redness down at home.

FAQ

Facial Redness Questions

Is My Redness Rosacea?

It may be. Rosacea often shows as persistent redness, flushing and visible vessels, sometimes with bumps. Your provider confirms what is driving it before recommending treatment. If bumps and flare-ups are part of the picture, our rosacea treatment page covers that plan.

How Many Aerolase Neo Sessions Will I Need?

Most patients need a series of sessions spaced a few weeks apart, followed by maintenance as needed. The number depends on how severe and widespread your redness is, and you get a clear plan at your consultation.

Does Aerolase Neo Hurt?

Most patients feel only gentle warmth as the handpiece moves over the skin. Aerolase is known for minimal discomfort, and no numbing is needed.

Is Laser Safe for Darker Skin Tones?

Aerolase technology is designed to be safe across a wide range of skin tones, which is one reason we use it. Your provider still assesses your skin type before any session.

Will the Redness Come Back?

Redness can return over time, especially with sun and heat. Daily sunscreen, calming skincare and occasional maintenance sessions help keep it under control.

Can I Wear Makeup After Treatment?

In most cases, yes, soon after treatment. Your provider gives you specific aftercare instructions for your skin.
