NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every cell. Cells rely on it to turn food into usable energy, to repair DNA and to support healthy brain function. Levels fall naturally as we age, which is why many patients add NAD+ to a longevity-focused routine.
A NAD+ shot delivers it by injection into the upper arm in a short visit. It is the quick alternative to a full infusion: you can book it as a stand-alone appointment, or add it as a booster when you come in for IV therapy.

We offer two ways to receive NAD+: a shot and NAD+ IV therapy. Many patients also ask how both compare with the capsules sold online, so here is the plain version.
| NAD+ Shot | NAD+ IV Therapy | Oral Capsule | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How it is given | Injection into the upper arm | Infusion into a vein over a longer session | Swallowed daily at home |
| Time in our office | A short visit; the injection takes moments | A longer infusion appointment | None |
| What it contains | NAD+ itself | NAD+ itself, delivered into the bloodstream | Usually precursors the body must convert after digestion |
| Medical oversight | Health review by our team first | Health review by our team first | Self-directed |
| Pairs well with | An IV therapy visit, as a booster | Patients who prefer an infusion | Ask us before combining with a shot |
Not sure which suits you? We help you choose at your health review, including whether a shot paired with IV therapy fits your goals.
NAD+ shots may suit healthy adults who want convenient wellness support. These are the patients we see most often.
Healthy adults focused on aging well who want to replenish a coenzyme that declines with age.
Patients interested in supporting cellular energy alongside sleep, nutrition and exercise.
Patients who cannot fit a full infusion into their week and prefer a visit measured in minutes.
People already on our IV therapy menu who want to add NAD+ as a booster at the same visit.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you manage a medical condition, we may ask you to check with your physician first.
We go over your medical history, medications, supplements, allergies and wellness goals to confirm a NAD+ shot is appropriate.
The injection site on your upper arm is cleaned, and we answer any last questions.
The NAD+ shot is given with a small needle. The injection itself takes only moments.
There is no downtime. Mild soreness, redness or a small bruise at the site can last a day or so.
No special preparation is needed. Eat normally, stay hydrated and wear a top that leaves your upper arm easy to reach.
Keep drinking water and avoid rubbing the injection site. Tell our team about any reaction that feels unusual.
NAD+ injections get a lot of attention, and research on them is still developing. We would rather you book with clear expectations, so this is where we stand.

NAD+ shots and our other wellness services are provided by our team of Certified Advanced Estheticians and medical staff. Every NAD+ shot starts with a health review, and our team helps you choose a shot, an infusion or a combination with IV therapy that matches your goals.
NAD+ shots are offered as single visits or as a booster add-on to IV therapy, and members of our wellness program receive member pricing. Current rates are listed on our medspa pricing page.
Monthly payment plans are available through our financing partner, Cherry.
Have a question that is not here? Bring it to your free consultation and our team will walk through it with you.
Most capsules sold as NAD+ support contain precursors that your body has to convert after digestion. A shot places NAD+ itself into the tissue, so it does not depend on the gut. Capsules are taken daily at home, while a shot is a short in-office visit given after a health review.
We do not offer NAD+ shots as a weight-loss or fat-reduction treatment. NAD+ plays a role in how cells produce energy, but it is not a substitute for nutrition, exercise or a medical weight plan. If body contouring is your goal, ask us about T-Shape 2 at your consultation.
There is no downtime, so you can go back to your day right away. Avoid rubbing or pressing on the injection site, keep drinking water, and expect that the spot may feel sore or look a little red for a day or so. Let our team know about any reaction that feels unusual.
There is no single sign, and individual results vary. Many patients keep simple notes on energy, focus and sleep over several weeks of shots, then review them with our team to decide whether to continue.
Yes. A NAD+ shot can be a stand-alone visit or a booster added to an IV therapy appointment. Patients who prefer a longer infusion can choose NAD+ IV therapy instead.
The injection itself takes only moments, so a NAD+ shot fits into a short visit. Your first visit also includes a health review with our team before the shot is given.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you manage a medical condition, we may ask you to check with your physician first. Our team reviews your history, medications, supplements and allergies before any shot is given.
Start with a free consultation or book your shot directly. We can add it to your next IV therapy visit.
